BACKGROUND
A 500,000 sq. ft. Metal Fabrication Facility in Tennessee endured a massive tornado with 120 mph winds, damaging 20 buildings in its corporate headquarters.
ExactX Consulting was hired by this commercial property to evaluate, document, and produce an estimate of the damages. Severe property damage included roof coverings, roofing systems, structural issues to the block walls, and water intrusion. Extensive knowledge of code requirements to stabilize the structures was required to mitigate further damage.
SOLUTION
The ExactX team met with the insurer, adjuster, engineers and representatives onsite to discuss the loss on multiple occasions. After over 1,000 hours, ExactX produced an accurate estimate totaling over $35 million in damages. The claim was settled with no further issue from either party.
