Curtis Phillips, Managing Partner & General Counsel
As Founding Partner and General Counsel at ExactX Consulting, Curtis leads the team of Building Consultants in successful claim resolutions throughout the U.S. Utilizing industry-leading technology and extensive experience handling complex, disputed claims, ExactX is committed to helping its clients achieve accurate claim resolutions. Curtis is licensed as an Xactimate Level 3 expert. He holds a J.D. from the University of Memphis along with his law license. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Campbellsville University while also playing football from 2000-2004. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
Michael Phillips, Building Consultant
Michael brings extensive experience in claims management as a Building Consultant at ExactX Consulting. He specializes in estimate audits and carefully reviews photos, reports, and Xactimate for accuracy and clarity.
Michael holds numerous leading industry accreditations including the Xactimate Level 2 certification; HAAG Residential Inspector certification; Windstorm Certification from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) Windstorm Inspection Program; and National Insurance Crime Training Academy (NICTA) certification.
Michael has an extensive background in insurance adjusting through numerous claims including Ida, one of the deadliest hurricanes in history. He holds 13 Adjuster licenses throughout the nation. When he’s not poring over Xactimate line items, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and 3 children, playing games and watching movies.
Joel Good, Business Development Consultant
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Joel graduated from Tulane University in 1999 with a Bachelor in Economics and earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 2003. Still a member of the Alabama State Bar, Joel joined ExactX Consulting’s partners in 2017 and specializes in business development and client relations.
Joel spends his time educating commercial property owners and commercial management companies about the benefits of utilizing the property loss experts at ExactX. In his spare time, Joel enjoys coaching youth sports, playing golf and spending time with his two children and lovely wife, Ana.
